What this site sends
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to count one approved event: page_view. The only site-supplied event parameter is page_path, reduced to one of four page categories: home (/), K13 (/k13), AiEDs (/aieds), or privacy (/privacy). The site also supplies an environment label as a user property and as traffic_type so production, staging, local development, and manual preview traffic can be separated.
The site supplies a canonical page location without a query string and clears the referrer before sending the event. It does not send the browser's full URL, query strings, names, email addresses, form data, document text, search terms, precise location, prompts, responses, API keys, or other user-entered content.
What GA4 handles automatically
The GA4 library may use cookies or similar session identifiers and receive the page title, browser language, broad browser, device, and platform categories, session information, and IP-derived country plus broader region, subcontinent, and continent. Google discards the IP address after deriving that geography. Granular location and device collection is disabled for every region, so GA4 does not collect city or city coordinates, the browser user-agent or minor version, device brand, model, or name, operating-system or platform minor versions, or screen resolution. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.
Random Knights, LLC is responsible for this site's analytics data. Google processes the analytics request under Google's privacy policy.
Beta list and updates
If you join the beta list from this site, we store the name you type if you give one, your email address, whether you ticked that you are interested in the paid tools, which Random Knights site you used (randomknights.xyz), and when you first and last joined. We use it only to email you about rand0m.ai and the Random Knights tools, and to count how many people want paid tools. We do not send it to Google Analytics, and we do not store your IP address or browser details in the list. Google Cloud keeps its own request logs for the function, which can carry them, for 30 days, outside the list.
The list is a private database in our Google Cloud project, and only our team can read it. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for advertising. We keep an entry until you ask us to remove it. We also remove entries that are more than 24 months past the last time you joined, by hand and not by an automatic job, so an entry can stay a little longer than 24 months. To be removed, email privacy@rand0m.ai from the address you joined with; removal finishes within 30 days. You must be 13 or older to join. Deleting a rand0m.ai account does not remove a beta list entry, because the list is not tied to an account.
Your backdrop choice
The lamp at the top left of the home page switches the header backdrop between two looks. The page remembers your choice in your browser's local storage under the key rk-backdrop, with the value dark or lite. Older choices named default, fallback, or pro are read as dark or lite. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. Clearing site data forgets it.
